i was just thinking abuot people's different setups with their Macs. i've seen some good pics on the net, like a G4 with a triple montor setup.

but i was wondering what MR people have their Macs set up like?

so everyone, post some photos of your Mac sitting on/underneath/around your desk, it's native environment. don't move anything around or clean anything up. just grab the digital camera and *click*. :D

i'll put up some photos tomorrow, don't have the digital camera in my room now.

my desk is pretty messy.... some people might freak out when i put up the pics. although i'm sure there would be someone here with an even more messy desk. ;) :D

    No mac to speak of....

I need to go find the pic of my dual monitor setup...i.e. my room :) Its actually pretty impressive technologically, if ya overlook the horrible non-computer desk and the sea of cables flowing beneath my desk ;)

Sweet -- four cpu's, four monitors, a wireless, an iPod -- nice! And does that chair have an ejection seat?!

Glad you like it all :D The PC case is a Thermaltake Xaser III (it has a side window on the other side, some nice cold cathodes in there ;)), I just built that PC a few months back, it's FAST - 3GHz 800MHz FSB P4, 1GB DDR433, 120GB SATA, Radeon 9800 Pro :D).

edesignuk, very nice! :D so you've got one of those three monitors hooked up to your PC, or is it visa versa?

wes, a very nice clean setup as well. :)

G4scott, i know what that's like. i hate not having enough room.

Balin64, looks good with the wireless mouse and keyboard. sure helps keep things nice and tidy.

well... here's my setup for the moment. that's a Celeron 333 under the desk, i used that for a while before i got my PB. well here's one pic:

i don't even have a proper desk yet. eventually i'll have a smaller desk for my PB and a seperate drawing/drafting desk, with a tilted surface.

Well, those screens all have dual inputs (DVI/Analogue). So, the left screen is on the Mac, and the middle screen (dual screen setup), and the PC is on the right screen, and the middle screen on the 2nd port (dual screens again). I have thought many times about either getting a PCI card for the Mac or the PC so that I could put one of them accross all three, but in the end I don't see the point. Also, the beige PC you can just about see under the desk it attached to the second port on the right hand screen.

These threads are by far my favorite... I just love to look at other people's setups. I just rearranged my room last night.. so excuse the emptiness surrounding the desk area.

Yes, in fact I do. That badge is from a Saab, but I am a proud Volvo owner. Currently I have a 740 Turbo Wagon (suspension upgrades and overboosted turbo). My father got me into Volvos and now I love them old or new.

Another site that I frequent...shows you what a wagon is capable of.

yeah, i've been doing a drawing course basically all of this year. i'm guessing you noticed that wooden manikin? i haven't even used that much. :p

i've been doing charicatures mostly in the last couple of weeks.

a bit off subject (buy hey, i started the thread. i'll post whatever i want!!:p ) but here's a charicature of Austin Powers. kind of goofy looking, but i reckon not too bad for someone who's only been doing charicatures for only 3 weeks. :D

comment on the drawing if you want, but definitely keep the pics coming! :D
