The CNN guy states that while scrolling in Zune you get the kapital letter of where in the list you are highlighted. This feature is also present in iPod.

And - while Zune might be a relatively strong contender of unmounting iPod from its throne - I can only imagine the next generation iPod with "on-screen-interface" to blow any competition out of the universe :D

You get my vote for making me laugh the hardest today. I love it when anyone uses the term 'skeet skeet.'

As much as I don't like MS, they have beat Apple to the wifi goodness. And they have a built in FM radio, two features I want on the iPod. However, its large screen, is the same res as the iPod making for poor video viewing, AND the Zune's music store doesn't sell any videos haha.

Its pretty obvious the iPod is a much better buy, especially for most of us since the Zune doesn't work with mac apparently. <- Which is one of the dumbest business moves MS can make evidently.

There should be no worry about the zune beating the ipod in my opinion. The iPod has become to much of an icon to be beaten by something like the zune. Hell, some people even call any old mp3 player an ipod whether its made by apple or not.

The ipod is similar to the sony walkman, in the respect that it dominated the portable music market for a good 10 to 15 years. The only thing that got close to beating it (Before the iPod) was the minidisk player. Technically these were much better, but still didn't beat it.

My point is that some huge technological advancement is going to have to beat the ipod, not wireless p2p sharing and a built in radio.

The problem is that microsoft has enough money to throw at the zune over the next few years to try and beat the ipod.

WiFi is useless when only a handful of people even have the Zune. If Apple released a WiFi adapter for the iPod tomorrow, you would have a heck of an easier time finding people to trade songs with than with the Zune. WiFi is only a good feature if lots of people have the zune AND are in your close reach. FM Radio? MEH - Why would i spend 400 bucks on a digital music player to listen to radio?

If you want that, get an FMXtra. Works about as well as any other MP3 player's radio. Which is to say, not so well. It's only about $20 though, so it's ok for the price.

    Radio

You can also get a FM radio plugin from Apple. What is the big deal about radio?? I prefer it not included so I don't have to pay more for something I would never use. Also, if I wanted a radio, I'd buy a box of cornflakes
