You can customize the color of text displayed in the Terminal window.
Choose Terminal > Preferences and click Settings.
Click Text.
Select a setting to modify from the Settings list, located on the left side of the Settings pane.
In the Text section, click the Text button.
Choose a color from the Colors palette and close the palette window.
You can also change the color of bold text or the text selection.
You can select other options for displaying text in the Text section:
Antialias Text: Applies smoothing to text.
Use bold fonts: Allows the display of bold fonts in the Terminal window.
Allow blinking text: Allows text to flash on and off.
Display ANSI colors: Allows the display of colors embedded in some terminal emulator standards.
Use bright colors for bold text: Makes bold text appear in highlighted colors.
