    For months now, every time I turn on either of my Apple TVs (1x ATV 4K, 1x ATV 4) I’m hit with this error. Nothing seems to cure it, I’ve tried logging into my account on iTunes, I’ve tried removing my Apple ID on both Apple TVs to see if that cures it, all to no avail.

    Has anybody else faced this and come up with a solution? It’s very annoying. I tried a search but only got solutions regarding issues with earlier iOS versions on iPhones.

    My solution was to call Apple at 1-800-275-2273 and speak to someone to help update my payment to another one, because I was unable to get around the error updating my credit card at appleid.apple.com or within iTunes. They did something on their end and I was able to change my credit card, and then it started to work again.

    There must have been some security flag triggered at some point that prevented me from purchasing or updating my billing info.
