    I'll agree to a "simpler, fairer tax code" so long as it doesn't burden the poor and reduce even further the small amount of wealth they possess.

    Bravo to Mr. Fortenberry, although I'm sure he realizes he's just jeopardized his chances for re-election...especially in Nebraska.

    Problem is, that's what most conservatives mean when they ask for a fairer, simpler tax code; they mean a way to shift more of the burden to the non-wealthy.

    Oh, I understand the code.

    I find it curious that the politician is being portrayed as some kind of maverick, when that has been the standard conservative line for years.

    He said no to Norquist.

    Watch out. We got a badass over here. :rolleyes:
