So, I really don't need 1080p...my laptop won't even smoothly play it.

I was hoping for a feature to change between 720p and 1080p, but have come up with nothing. Is there something I may be missing?

Let's make a trade and I'll send you my iPhone 4 that shoots in 720p for your iPhone 4S.
 
It would still be nice to have an option between 480p, 720p, and 1080p.

One good example is when you know you'll be taking a lot of video but don't have a lot of storage space left.
 
Its a Toshiba, a couple years old. I think the main reason is because it was a Vista machine that I reverted back to XP (for obvious reasons) and not all the hardware plays along 100%. I have a mac pro as well in my studio, but I try not to use it for anything other than audio.

I'll look into apps, there doesn't appear to be any info for 4S yet...but I'm sure soon app info will be updated
