Can you fold the smart cover all the way to the back. Like folding a book or a magazine? Does it fold properly? OR do we have to remove the smart cover when not covering the ipad?

It works fine that way. Actually works better than naked.

Well it's polycarbonate so it can "Pick Up Scratches". Why? Do I need another case to protect this case from getting scratches? 😕
