Lol I am using a thin case, basically for scratch protection and hmmmm it’s not comfortable like the xs. I’ll get used to it I’m sure. We have extended return period so it’ll be fine.

I’ve got six hours of screen on time and it feels fine. The edges don’t feel as ergonomic, but I actually prefer that because it makes me more aware of my grip.

I use my pinky for bottom support also, but I’ve been doing that since the 6, so maybe I’m used to it.

Lol at “sissy” hands.

I’d assume everyone’s hands are different as far as sensitivity, there’s nothing wrong with you if you experience some discomfort, hell your hands might even adjust to the feel and grip of the phone with a little time.

I only played with my Max case-less for about 5 minutes just to admire and marvel at the new design and craftsmanship. I didn’t experience any major discomfort but i’m the type to almost IMMEDIATELY want my phones to have some sort of case. I’ve got the Tech 21 clear case (Been using Tech 21 on every iPhone since iphone 6 Plus) abd the overall feel and grip is very comfortable

I had an iPhone 11 Pro Max that I had been using careless the last few months as I was waiting for this bad boy... I must admit that I like the way the phones feel careless.. This phone feels more top heavy for me.. Anyone else notice that?

I feel the same I always used the max versions and I always use phones ceaseless and never really had a problem but with the sharp edge it digs into my thumb a bit over time and starts to get uncomfortable where the curved edges of the 11 seemed to settle in to the base on my thumb. One thing I have heard people say is give it a few days and see if it changes. I think my grip is kind of adjusting today and it’s been better so we’ll see. I’d definitely like to avoid using a case or going down a size so I’ll see how it goes. Worst case I try and find a thin case I like, I have gone down phone size with the x but really missed the larger screen.

Amazed anyone would use the 11/12 PM case and skinless. This frosted glass is ridiculously slippery.

I’m using my 12 PM with two hands almost always so the flat edges have been no issue.

I am not using a case on my Gold 12 Pro Max and it does hurt my hand from holding it too long. But thats just because I am so used to having a super tight grip on my previous phone, 11 Pro Max as I also didnt use a case for it so it was always kind of slippery. So I am just used to holding my phone with a tight grip. But with this 12 Pro Max, theres no need to have a tight grip when holding it, it is less slippery, so I am sure I will eventually learn to hold it with a softer grip so my hands dont hurt lol

Yeah, it digs a little bit after a little while holding it. I think we'll adjust, though. We've had curved edges for years now, we'll adapt and find comfy ways to hold this beast.

Haha, dang it..I use my pinky to hold it up. I am thinking that’s maybe it.
This is how I hold it too and I’m thinking about exchanging for a 12 Pro because it’s kinda uncomfortable to hold for extended periods of time (for me). I’ve tried different grips... holding it horizontally is super comfy but not every app supports horizontal rotation. I dunno... I really want to like it but I think I might be happier with the Pro.

It's the giant camera modules. I use my iPhone in my left hand and can feel it pulling to the camera corner for sure.

Use two hands. That's how I do it. No issues. I only use one hand on the go for quick actions.

Case-less, use one or two handed, feels like coming home. I never liked the rounded edges which felt like I needed to grow the phone harder. I am considering using the bumper that I got from eBay though.

I welcome the square sides again, however; I’m using a clear thin Totalee primarily to keep smudges off the sides of my silver/white 12PM. Coming from an 11PM, it feels better.
