    The RAM in the MBP Retina model is soldered in. You can't upgrade it.

    It's soldiered on to the logic board..

    Answer: yes probably, for your retina MBP, no.

    You can't upgrade the RAM in the Retina Macbook Pro yourself, it's built in to the logic board. You have to order it with what you want.
