put my 8gb on ebay already. score!
I very much doubt these photos are real.
I also very much hope that Apple does release an 16Gb iPhone this month. My guess would be $499.
I plan on buying an iPhone within the next month. I'd love to get a 16Gb rather than buy and 8Gb and have them release the 16Gb model a week later....
everyone remember apple always breaks the news with a select individual working in the retail ranks of the world... I call BS.
The OP Jimpo is obviously a tool for posting a mediocre photoshop job and story on a site like Macrumors.
That would be like: I'm going to commit a bunch of crimes today and then send the shirt I wore all day to the CSI forensics lab.
I am glad this is fake right now, I want a little bit more time to have the best iPhone on the market. I know I will not have the money to upgrade to a larger unit when one comes out.
if it has 3g, an early Chanukah is coming for puckhead
but, i don't think i buy this
LOL look at calculator
lol look at the calculator icon. If it was 1.1.2 or a new iphone box, yhe calculator icon should have that new border around it... Fake!
way to read the thread. this was said like 47 times.
I highly doubt you'll see a 16GB iPhone this year, possibly sometime in 2008 would be my guess most likely they'll be priced well above $499 that wouldnt make sense for an iPhone double the size to be only $100 more than the 8GB currently out on the market.
It would be enough to get my entire library for once, but so soon after just buying an 8GB I am not interested. However, I would have jumped at a 16GB version if it had been out a few weeks ago.
Without commenting on the dubious picture, you know that higher capacity phones are coming and more than likely sooner rather than later.
Why wouldn't it make sense? that is how it is with the iPod touch.
Despite the calculator icon, I think this makes sense though, coz they have the 16GB iPod Touch, and why can't they have 16GB iPhone?
The only thing is the marketing, I don't think apple should be upgrading the iPhone too soon. But u never know apple, they did break iPhone owners hearts with the price cut and why can't they bump the memory.
Send me a free one and I'll believe you.
It could be ture, however I would like MacRumors would of been all over it.
my bad... let's see you try to read all 4 pages on a lil iphone screen while trying to drop a phat deuce!
No wait, this is the real one:
It's got a 120GB HD... and version 1.1.4.
I'm sure this one is the real thing; it's even blurrier, and that lighting just screams "elevator".
I doubt this true ... Steve Jobs will never ship this type of upgrade before he has a press conf.. the guy loves the spotlight...
I call fakies.
This has got to be fake!
omg people, we know it's fake. read the frickin posts!
This already went to the front page of Engadget, haha, how ridiculous.
But Engadget was debunking it. Gizmodo ran it.
And its on the front page of Neowin.net - oh dear ppl.
[EDIT] Neowin has now taken the article down. LOL.
Well the was quite recent, so if Apple have being planning this for a while they may have had the boxes made after they changed the calculator logo
