My dad recently purchased a 2.93GHz iMac from an Apple Retailer in Hong Kong. We transferred all the data from his old iMac G5. We then tried to log in after doing that and once we enter System Preferences on his admin account the keyboard freezes up and acts as a numeric keypad and we can't fix it.
Also if you guys need the specs (I don't see why) here they are:
2.93GHz Processor
4GB RAM
640GB HD
nVidia GeForce 120GT (256 MB)
Thanks for any help in advance.

Uhh...
Sounds like a software problem. You could try wiping it and reinstalling OSX fresh. If you can't figure it out, just bring it to an Apple store.
