I just got my Dell 2007FPW today, and absolutely love it.

Just a little issue though:

When I place my G5 into sleep mode, the Dell flashes "No DVI cable" (or something like that) for a second, then goes into sleep mode (or powersave mode as they call it).

Now, if my G5 stays awake, but shuts the monitor off after the period of inactivity I have set, the monitor just stays at "No DVI Cable" and doesn't go into powersave mode.

I have no idea who's to blame for this. With my old Samsung LCD (connected with VGA using the DVI->VGA adapter) it would go into sleep mode in both situations. But the Samsung did things a bit differently, and it wouldn't say "No cable connected" unless the cable was unplugged from the back of the monitor itself, I guess it used some sort of sensor in it's VGA port. If the cable was plugged into the monitor and not the computer, it still wouldn't say "No Cable connected"

Does anyone know whats going on here? Thanks
