Interesting. I look forward to the Obama/McCain edition of the "I'm a Mac..." ads.
Obama: "Hi I'm a Mac..."
McCain: "No, I'm Mac..."
Obama: "No, I'm a Mac, and you're a PC"
McCain: "I am Mac. The Mac."
Obama: "But I'm a Mac."
McCain: "Which one? BlackBook? MacBook Ayers?"
Obama: "Hey, you're the one who pals around with viruses..."
Bah...just as I figured.
Look at Landor's client list and you'll see why there's not a whole lot of diversity on that chart.
This is a Landor PR stunt to push their clients' brands, nothing more.
This is political fluff and not to be taken seriously. And in looking at their client list, I see none of the brands above listed there.
From the press release:
With 24 offices in 18 countries, Landor’s current and past clients include some of the world’s most powerful brands, including BP, Cathay Pacific, Citi, Danone, Delta, Diageo, Emaar Properties, FedEx, Frito-Lay (Cheetos), the City of Hong Kong, HSBC, LG Group, Marriott Hotels & Resorts, Microsoft (aka PC), Procter & Gamble (Pringles), and PepsiCo.
From their client list:
Research in Motion (aka Blackberry)
I'm not taking it seriously, I just think it would have been more interesting if there was a wider diversity of options given to those surveyed.
Lol Frank TV on TBS does just this. Both Obama and McCain depict themselves as the Mac
