When did I talk **** about Hextall?:confused: He was a crazy and aggressive goalie, which is truth. I said nothing more than that.

i have been crazy busy and havent been on here in a while :rolleyes:

hoping my boys can turn it around tonight.. from what i saw they played in both games, but stupid mistakes cost them. need to play better than that.

if we can go back to vancouver 2-2 we still have a chance

That hit was only about 1 second late. It would of been a clean hit if it happened a second earlier. I don't see a suspension coming. Definitely deserved the 5 minute major though.

If Horton had his head up, he'd be on the ice right now.
 
Unfortunate for Horton from the hit. Wish him well and a quick return to the series if possible. Aaron Rome was a tiny bit late. He's regretting it too I'm sure.

But what a game so far.

Lindros also had his head down. In hockey, you cannot have you head down, especially when crossing the blue-line. Hopefully Horton will be okay.

But man what a great pace to the first period. Everyone is finishing their checks and it was all around a great period. Two huge saves by Timmy.

Agreed. Rome was like milliseconds too late on that hit. It was hard to tell, but after watching it a number of times, you can see he was a bit late. At first, I thought it was a clean open ice hit, and I was like "wth is a clean hit these days?"

The refs made the right call.

Players need to keep their head up in a situation like that too. Horton was admiring his pass instead of staying alert.

I hope Horton's okay.

I now hate Pierre McGuire. I used to not mind him...... now I think he sucks ass. He's just annoying.

Is it me or does it seem like the Versus announcers are rooting for the Bruins? Why can't they just be neutral?:confused:

None of the goals can really be blamed on Luongo. There have been lucky bounces and complete defensive breakdowns. What is Ehrhoff doing out there?

If the Canucks keep playing like they did in the 2nd, this game is over. They just seem disorganized out there.

Hopefully it'll be an interesting 3rd period.

I'm not blaming it all on the D.....I said there was a complete defensive breakdown- that includes the entire team.
I'm not going to comment about Lucic.:rolleyes:

I think we can all agree the hit was suspension worthy. Now comes the big question-is the NHL ready to make headshots suspendable even during the finals?

I say no-at least not this year-will shanny do it next year-I think he might.

Don't get me started on Shanahan being in charge of discipline. It hasn't been long enough since he's been a player. Can't the NHL pick someone that isn't closely connected to either side? Why not a discipline panel?



I'd be embarrassed tonight if I was a Canucks fan. I'm glad that I'm not.:D
 
8-1 Boston. This must be the most embarrassing hockey team in the NHL. Canucks need a different goalie.

Maybe replace the team and keep the goalie. You can't seriously blame him for that embarrassment.

The Versus announcers seem to be too emotionally involved or something. They're way over the edge with their bias.


Good for Julien for saying that he was disappointed in Lucic for doing the fingers thing to Burrows. If I were Burrows (and if I had a free hand), I would have grabbed his fingers and twisted.

It's absolutely embarrassing to lose like that in game 3 of the finals. But to come out and say that the "Canucks need a different goaile" is:

Honestly rooting for the Bruins so I thoroughly enjoyed tonight.

Only rooting for Boston because the Nucks knocked my blackhawks out
