I found a used 2012 MBP with 16GB RAM, 4th gen i7 2.6 ghz, and 768GB SSD. What would be a fair price for me to pay?

What is the condition of the laptop and how many cycles has the battery been through? Is there any notable software included with it, or is it a fresh install of OS X?

I thought the 768GB SSD was an option only on the Retina model.

The 2012 retina 15" can be had for around $1000. For the non retina, I wouldn't pay more than $800-850 and only if it was in pristine condition with low battery cycles count.

That one sold anyways. Found another 2012 13" with 2.9ghz i7, 256SSD , 16gb RAM, 90 cycles on battery, great condition

upgraded graphics? The 2012 model does not have upgraded graphics, HD400 only). There is not such model. The 2012 non retina 13" MBP has a 3rd gen "IVY" processor. The 768GB option was not available for the non-retina model. Be careful.
