2020 Air Intel... 30 watt charger won't turn it on but 87 watt charger works

Intel Air which comes with a 30 watt usb c charger won't charge or turn on even after being left for days.
However a 87 watt charger from a MacBook Pro charges it and it turns it on.
Obviously there is something wrong as it should work with the supplied charger.
Is there a fix? (apart from buying a 87 watt charger.(

Take back the 30 watt charger brick it doesn't seem to be putting out the correct wattage.

Isolate the problem. Are you using the same cable. Does the 30W charger work with other devices, does another 30W charger work with your air.

I've used 3 different 30w chargers and cables. None of them work.
Yet with the 87 watt it works immediately.
I have also now charged the laptop.... so battery is full.
Turn it off and it won't turn on again without the 87 watt charger despite having a full battery.

Ok. Your laptop has a problem, I would contact apple.
