Hi all, first post here.

I was considering getting the new intel imacs, mostly because i wanted a better computer (1ghz15"pb right now) and because miniDVI support was included. however, i found very little information about miniDVI and whether it would work with my dell 2405fpw

does anybody have any information on whether they are compatible? (through apple's miniDVI to DVI adaptor)

also, if anybody could tell me a little bit more information about miniDVI and what the big difference between that and regular DVI is?

thanks,

Kevin

The only difference between miniDVI and "real" DVI is the size of the port. Using the miniDVI->DVI adaptor results in a normal DVI port.

The new Intel Macs will drive a 2405 jusst fine.
