On 9to5mac, in the battery life article... Gurman writes, "To test real-world performance in a variety of conditions, the company has circulated a surprisingly large number of test units of the Watch: nearly 3,000 are said to be currently roaming around, mostly the stainless steel variant."

Is anyone else surprised there has been a lack of pictures of the watch in the wild...we had the supposed Marc Newson Instagram picture last week ... but besides that nothing.

Perhaps Apple is hiding the watch in some encasing so it doesn't catch anyones eye, like they have done with iPhones in the past, but that seems to clunky...

Thoughts?? Post any in the wild pictures you might have stumbled upon.

Probably in some sort of case to make it hidden from random people walking by. And those testing are keeping their mouths shut if they want to remain Apple employees.
