Hi All

I've trawled through pages and pages looking for answers, I couldn't find anything specific to my question, apologies if I have missed something.

Like a lot of people, I'm working from home using my 2017 MacBook Pro with Radeon Pro 555 2GB. For an external monitor I have been connecting via HDMI to a 42" tv. Its now giving me neck pain considering I'm less than a foot away from the screen.

I'm now looking for a monitor (max 32") that can also charge my Mac fully (87w). I use my Mac for office applications (MS Apps) and youtube, google, email etc. Basically no gaming or content creation. But I would like the text to be clear rather then fuzzy (which I think is more due to the size of the tv I'm using though it is Full HD)

What would you experts recommend? Budget is flexible though I don't need the best of the best. Main things Im looking for are:

size - 27" - 32" (will 27" be too small though?)
pd - 87w
clear text and good display, not too fussed about viewing angles as I will be looking at it straight on and won't be sharing with anyone

Thanks
S

I have a Dell U3421WE that I absolutely love. USB-C hub (limited to 5G). One connection (USB-C) provides 90W of power to a laptop with connectivity. It's a curved display, which takes some getting used to. I love it.

Tip about monitors: if you're not going with a 4K monitor, go for smaller -- otherwise text will look fuzzy due to the large pixel size. If you're going with 4K, then 27-32" will be fine.

My suggestion is to spring for a 4K monitor, especially for use on a Mac. It'll give you that ultra-crisp text that your used to on your MacBook's display.

Thanks both for your suggestions, I've now managed to source a Xbox Series X so now in addition to the above, I also need a monitor that would work well with it, any suggestions?
