I don't understand one thing. Why would you remove 3D touch on devices that supports it and reveal the haptic touch? Can't they just keep the 3D touch on devices that support it and add haptic touch to the ones that dont have 3D touch. Devide, apples and orange.
I always loved the 3D touch and I even paid for that functionality, it was a new feature, in a new iPhone, a pressure sensitive display, wow my, and now they are getting rid of it. Ffs just leave it be, for the devices that supports it!

This is done in the hope that people don’t complain of removed feature when 2019 iPhones release. They are expected to not include 3d touch so that they can be 0.01 mm thinner and cheaper. The cost savings are not expected to be passed down to the customer in form of reduced price though.

Apple is legit gutting customers at every corner they can now. It's getting kind of ridiculous at this point. I'm well aware a lot of people don't even use 3D touch but I enjoy it quite a bit.

I'm curious, where are you not seeing the 3D touch? Apple has added it back to a large extent for the devices that support it. Especially in these past 2 betas.
