I have an MC verison of Iphone 3GS, this this means it newer model.
Anyway was all working fine on 5.1.1 and untethered. I am using a mac by the way but can use laptop aswell if needed.
Anway I got
redsnow 0.9.15b3 and used
Iphone 2,1_6.0_10A403_restore ipsw
It actually worked or at least seemed to be.
I couldnt find siri and wanted to have a play so used cydia to add source of cant remember now but sure it began wi BA - was a video online somewhere...
Anyway this started to add and download packages etc etc..
Then phone went off...
Now when I do manage to get it on - its just a grey/white backlit screen. Nothing else.
Itunes seems to think it stuck in recovery mode?
Tiny umbrella shows no info for phone just invalid
Redsnow - looks like it doing something on mac but phone cant see anyting going on.
