iPod touch 3rd Gen iPod Touch?

I have a 3rd gen 32GB. I don't believe it has the oleophobic glass coating. If it does, then my fingers are EXTREMELY oily.
 
How do SEE the differences between 2G and 3G? :| i mean with ur eyes. I know the hardware differences. Just so i wont get tricked if a noob seller says its a 3G while its just a 2G..
 
One of the ways is that the 2nd gen on the back of the case at the bottom has four lines of writing. On the 3rd gen there are only 2 lines.

Sorry if i jack the thread but, i heard you cant edit your calendar stuff on the touchs?

Like..I cant add "Annas birthday" as a note on 6th december 2009 directly, but has to do it via itunes.

Can anyone check this out?

Yeah you can add or edit things on the calendar. When my proffs assign something in class I add it into my Calendar on my Touch. It's great. I'm going to be getting a 64g in about a week (just have to wait for Future Shop to get them in stock). I could go to the Apple Store....but Future Shop is selling it for $399.
