11bE5 macrumors 6502 Original poster Sep 9, 2014 #7 My galaxy s3 I had had the same screen size and is 720p and looks beautiful still. Now I understand completely different technology AMOled vs IPS, but it still looks great.

Yes a rather embarrassing retina resolution which is the maximum visible to the human eye at normal viewing distance. It is significantly worse than higher resolutions in that it has better battery life while having no disadvantages.
