I made these 4 new concept videos in order to visualize what the next iPhone and iOS 8 could be like in a realistic point of view.
    1. Handy solves the famous "use with one hand" problem on a 4.7" display
    2. Split - take adavntage of the big display to use more than one app at a time.
    3. Bundle store - much like Cydia but integrated into iOS. You download bundles to customize parts of the OS.
    4. Adaptive Icons - to solve to new vibrant iOS 7 icons that can really cause you eye damage when using with certain wallpapers because of bad color combinations.

    Thanks for checking it out!

I must say, I love them all! I like the idea of the bundles store particularly as you mentioned they will have to be approved by Apple first.

These are great but what are the actual chances Apple adopts these?

Really cool stuff. Praying Apple adopts some of these concepts. Well done

I really like all of them except the Bundle Store. The concept is just the exact opposite of Apple's ecosystem.

I hope Apple can come up with a great non-trivial, important feature on iOS 8 because just making it faster and making the iPhone a bit faster, larger with a better camera won't cut it in the long run for them.

Thinking of the leaps between 3GS - 4 and 3G-3GS it all were astonishing and revolutionising. I want Apple to excite me again and change people's lives. I know that's like the hardest thing one can demand for but people are starting to lose that hype about Apple after Steve Jobs' passing and I don't want to believe that.

I'm really hopeful about this HealthBook and iWatch rumours. Let's hope they can make it happen.

That's the problem.. Nobody sees that we reached the smartphone innovation limit. Of course there will be little and some more exciting things but the real innovation was already done. Now smartphones will be getting more and more like TVs - every year there are new ones but nothing special.
But every year people expect Apple to do something unbelievable and great with the iPhone and say something like "Omg Apple is doomed" if nothing big is released... So I wouldn't wait for something like this because it will not happen. The iPhone is all about incremental updates which are really(!) useful.
That said, I really looking forward to Healthbook and the iWatch. This will be next innovation ;)

    Awesome ideas and presentation!
and in case you're interested to know what I think…

Love this. I wonder how “perfectly” this would “just work.” If it works well, people will cry tears of joy. If it’s buggy, oh dear… But it's a great solution!

Something I'd add to accessibility options is to expand the keyboard to the full width of the screen for people with less dexterity or simply larger fingers.

    Adaptive Icons
    How tasteful. Great touch!

This would definitely be one of those “4.7-inch or larger displays” features. Maybe something that would work with the iPhone 5 series. Needs a little more visual refinement, but so far it's the most elegant solution to this that I've seen.

    Bundle Store
Reducing the desire for people to Jailbreak — and have those developers be able to make money (or just create tweaks) from people who don't want to jailbreak (like me) —*great idea. It would also satisfy peoples’ desire for alternative keyboards.

Awesome work! The Bundles feature could be the feature that will completely destroy Android! I see Apple doing this but not in the near future. They could have more flexible Api and strict guidelines. The dynamic icons seems like a no brainer after seeing it! Apple HAS to include this.

I also would like to see a category in the Settings app called "Default Apps."

This area would have 2 functions.

The ability to hide system apps. (Apple will never allow the removal of their system apps, but hiding/disabling them would be better than nothing.)

The ability to set default apps for specific functions.

    Default web browser.
    Default email client.
    Default maps/navigation.
Default music app. (Like asking Siri to play "Smells Like Teen Spirit", and Siri will initiate the playback from Spotify/Google Play/Rdio... etc instead of the Apple music app.

I would do naughty things for Split and the Bundle Store. Seriously. Doing more than one thing at a time is something that is so overdue its EMBARRASSING. I'm also dying for any type of opportunity to customize my UI.

Handy would be great for those who are so scared of bigger screens because they "won't be able to use it with one hand".

An iPhone user can only dream

    Great job! Brilliant solutions :D

Great videos and really useful features, only concern is split screen would be a bit small on a 4.7" device, and no clue how something like a keyboard would work for the notes app, given another app it taking the top half of the device.
