4S Activation Question

My girlfriend ordered her iPhone 4S from Verizon this past Friday. She should receive it sometime this week, but she currently has no working computer. She also does not have an iTunes account either.

Would it be possible for to activiate her 4S using my MBP if I signed out of my iTunes account on my computer? Would it then allow her to create a new iTunes account on my MBP in which I could simply sign out once the activiation process is done?

She can do that from the phone. With iOS 5 you can set it up without a computer.
