I need to bring in an iPhone 5 for a possible warranty replacement. The speaker stopped working a couple months ago (should have brought it in before now). Do you think there's any chance I'll get a 5s as a replacement if I wait another week or so? Or do you think they'll just repair the speaker on site?

No. Apple can still replace or fix your iPhone 3GS if you pay for out-of-warranty repair.
