5s camera focus speed test ( can someone do one please)

What's the focus speed like on the 5s compared to the 5/4s/ samsung?

While I always prefer apples cameras for quality, the focussing often does the pulsing in/out before a lock like contrast AF.

The samsung s3/4 seem to focus quicker like phase detect AF.

How is the 5s?

If someone can do a test on video that would be cool!

I just held them side by side. The 5S was quicker in lighted areas but the 5 was quicker in darker areas.

That's strange! Thanks for trying. A good way to test is hold the phone steady, pointing at a scene where one object is close and another far away, then tap to focus between the two

That's what I did. Tapped on multiple objects in both situations.
