I've had my 5s on 7.1.2 JB since ive thought the stock iOS was always the best on previous iphones, but now after so long and 9.3x is JB im considerin upgradin. Wanted to know peoples experiences/thoughts on how 9.3x does on a 5s.

Use the little gear icon that should be on the top right by the first post/thread title.

Generally speaking if you don't really want new features in new iOS, you should remain at your iOS 7.1.2, as newer firmware will eventually drag down iOS performance to a degree which, you may not want.
And now if you upgrade then you are buying a one-way ticket, no return.
Current iOS 9.3.3 jailbreak is semi-untethered jailbreak and it is bound to a certificate, which has an expiration date. IF, before next jailbreak becomes available, certificate is expired, what will happen? No one knows.

My conclusion is: be reluctant on upgrade, whether for jailbreak or not.

My partner and daughter both own the iPhone 5 and both cope with iOS 9 very well.

The iPhone 5s being the next one on should be fine IMO.

One of the problems with staying on 7.1.2 is that a lot of App Store apps now require minimum of IOS 8 to install.
