I wonder (if that's true) if the mactablet would take over that position :D

It has to be (again if true) the screen size and apps

This doc votes YEAH to iPhone. And because I am middle-aged, will vote YEAH for a larger tablet if it ever arrives (damn you presbyopia).

My wife is a Dentist and loves her iPhone. She uses Epocrates and other applications to look up information on it all the time.

And play BeJeweled. She is seriously addicted to that app.

    Sounds like a TV ad.

    8 out of 10 doctors prefer Barf-O-Lax…
    9 out of 10 dentists prefer Acid-white toothpaste…
6 out of 10 doctors prefer the iPhone.

I work in the medical industry and yes, a lot of doctors seem to LOVE this phone.

Hot topic: Would you let a proctologist handle your iPhone?

My wife's 2 doctors both have an iPhone. My daughter's pediatrician has an iPhone, and my doctor has an iPhone.

All I do is either help them JB them, or send them emails all the time for cool apps to use (from a business standpoint, I'm also self employed).

    Maybe there's a business opportunity I'm missing....

Yeah, maybe start developing iPhone apps rather than killing off customers for App Store developers by jailbreaking iPhones.

You must be a psychic. Cause literally an hour ago the mail guy dropped off my Amazon order with $250 of iPhone programming books.

My doctor would prefer that you change the spelling of prefer in the title of this thread from "perfer" to "prefer." :)

But does it work with medical gloves on? :)

Nurse: Doctor, come quick, this man is overdosed on supercondamine!
Doc: No problem, let me look up that drug on my iPhone.
    Nurse: Hurry!
Doc: Oh damn, got these surgical gloves on. Can't use the touchscreen.
Nurse: Never mind. It's too late.

I recently came out of hospital, and the doctors (two) looking after me both had iphones. They noticed mine and commented too...
