60% chance Articles of Impeachment against Trump in 2017.

Reasons (in order of what I think are weight of charges):
    1. Illegal accounting / money laundering. (always hides his tax filings, and has vocally treated to obstruct/fire Muller if he tries to see/review Trump's finances).
    2. Ethics violation (despite what he says, Trump still maintains partial control of his empire)
    3. Violation of Emoluments cause (China granting impossible to get trade marks, surge in Trump branded business in many countries, and its relation to #2)
    4. Collusion with Russia by accepting, even asking, for help from Russia against his opponent, Clinton (if you do not know what I am talking about, you do not deserve to criticize this point.)

Why Russia last? Because I honestly do not think Russia is the main issue with Trump, its just something happens to be fluttering around his head like a Twitter bird.

    Source?
Won't matter what legitimate sources I link, because according to Trump everything is fake so mine is as good as Fox News, or CNN, or MSNBC, or who ever.
Besides, even Fox News has reported the salient points I used above.
(Anyway, your estimate is as good as anyone's)

    Why not 100% you ask?
Took Congress over 6 months to go nowhere with Health Care, would take... (to be continued)

I think you're being overly optimistic.

Republicans are not moving away from Trump, and give him an 86% approval rating.

I thought some Democrats already introduced Articles of Impeachment against Trump. Of course, without either party leadership support, it's going nowhere.

Republicans control both congress and house so impeachment is nothing more than a pipe dream.

If you really want to know the odds, the best spot to check is Vegas.

Are you sure it's 86%? You know those polls are always wrong. Im sure they hate him too.

With this administration it's more of a mudslide.

What are the odds he quits first?

I'll expand on that, what are the odds he quits within the first 12 months.

I'd be hard to imaging the rank and file "establishment" republicans haven't held hush hush meetings about if/how they can get rid of this ******* before they all get torched in coming elections. The american public wanted a candidate outside the beltway, they got one. It's been one hell of an experiment but it's time to move on.

Hard to say... each betting site is all over the map on that one, but the general consensus is he'll resign before allowing himself to be impeached. So higher than 33% is a safe bet.

Trump is doing a very good job is undermining Congressional Republican support.

The amount of egg Trump as thrown shows, will drive them to pull support.

Still, good chance it wont happen in 2017.

He'll go down for perjury when/if he testifies. The above list is good - but they won't catch him on that. Lying under oath though? He can't stay on message or book. I would predict that in the first 5 minutes of testimony he will have lied at least once.

No amount of approval rating will save him if he is found to break the law.

Well, I'm not convinced...yet. If, Trump fires Sessions and makes a recess appointment without Congressional approval/opinion - I could see that causing a few Congresspeople to change their mind on the issue of Impeachment...we'll see.

Can we at least pass a "skinny" impeachment?

Not if Trump does something to piss them off. It should be remembered that republicans had to be dragged kicking and screaming during the Nixon years too, but they eventually got there.

Yeah, but more than a few of those Republicans seemed to value country as much as party. This batch, I don't know. They're finally defending Jeff Sessions, but even there I have to think they're doing it because Sessions used to be one of their own.

I thought so too, but then I started watching historical documentaries and learned that even back then people put party first....at least for awhile until they just couldn't do so anymore. Everyone has their breaking point I guess. Some people of course stuck by Nixon forever. A sad state of affairs.

And he had a 12% chance of winning the election. Here we go again, more disappointment for the left.
