64GB iph5 with only 57.3GB capacity?! What's using 6.7GB?

I have an AT&T 64GB iph5. It says, capacity 57.3 GB (55.2 GB free). I've added a few apps, but haven't added music, videos, etc.

Does the base operating system really consume 6.7GB?!?

Do the 16GB phones only have a capacity of 9.3GB??
