Hey guys, this is a spin off of this ridiculous thread:
https://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?p=7399461
Now, I did searching on the topic, and based on the fact that it's the same way to remove a jailbreak from the iPhone 3G and both iPod touch's...to remove the jailbreak from the 2G iPhone you restore it via iTunes, correct?
For those that can't be bothered opening that topic, the guy sold his 2G iPhone because the "jailbreak was screwy". He became all defensive when I said all he had to do was restore it to the official software, and said that the fact that he owned a jailbroken 2G iPhone meant that he was right - when everything else I've read on this forum has suggested that, like the other iPhone/touch devices, a restore will remove it.
It's gotten to the point where he's starting to slide insults into his posts, because he seems insecure at admitting he's wrong.
So, to clarify, to remove a jailbreak from a 2G iPhone...restore? Yes?
