Very sad news coming from down under. No word on who the shooter was or any motive.

There's strangely not a lot of detail about this, but the cops aren't looking for anyone and the identified victims are all one family... So awful to hear.

Probably a murder-suicide then if they aren’t looking for anyone.

Yeah that's what I'm thinking. The one report said one (or more) kids are on the autistic spectrum, in Canada there's been a few family killings due in part of the stresses/demands of raising kids with special needs. Still doesn't mean it isn't any less tragic. :(

The report I read explicitly stated they (Oz police), thought it a murder-suicide. I think that was BBC, and it was pretty early when I read it, so I may be mis-remembering.

    EDIT
BBC article now states: "Police have not yet confirmed widespread reports of murder-suicide."
I'm pretty sure earlier they did report it as a murder-suicide though.

This was familicide. No-one will be looking for the killer, as the killer is already dead.
