Since beta 7 is exactly the same as the final release I've had the pleasure of using it for a week and I must say its been flawless. I haven't had a single app close or weird bug or lag and I must say that it's probably the best iOS release in terms of stability and fluidity in a long time.

The last beta was a battery killer. Hope this fixes it...

Not sure this is the case.. My iPhone 6s Plus running beta 7 is installing the public 9.3 released today at a decent 1.7GB size. So i'm curious to see if there are any differences or simply getting rid of the beta files. installing now...

It's not the same build as the final release.

No issues here except higher than normal background usage. I have a very typical routine when updating my devices. I install the update, do a hard reset and charge to 100%. At 100% I will unplug my devices (iPad Air 2 & iPhone 6s) and just let them sit. Every 30 minutes I will check the battery usage. For Betas 4-7, after 1 hour of stand by there was only 9 minutes of usage on both devices. Each beta was identical. This build however, after 1 hour of sitting, I have 48 minutes of usage. So something is running, even with a hard reset.

    Anyone else notice?

I was VERY disappointed with the performance of my Air 2 when I bought it last year with iOS 9.0.

Since the 9.3 betas started though I've been very content with performance. It's still not perfect but it's definitely night and day from the days of 9.0, 9.1 and even 9.2!

It's breathed new life into my Air 2 and I couldn't be happier :)

I'm enjoying it so far! Like the night shift mode really enjoying the warmer colours! Makes a noticeable difference doesn't feel as bright. Even if I have automatic brightness on and it's on the lowest it still seemed a tad to bright, this night shift works very well with it.

I like the activity app how they've changed it makes more sense, also make sense to display the Apple Watch watch data in health kit!

Also I saw something about scrolling with the space bar in emails has changed, what did they mean by this?

So I take it you don't have unusual background usage? I'm not seeing a decrease in battery life because of it yet, just that something is running. Just have to try to pinpoint what it is. If I can't by tonight, I will reset settings. I just find it odd that both devices are doing it.

Dude, I thought I was the only one. After beta 7, there's a noticeable drain in the background, something is really running in the bg. I'm going to restore to iOS 9.3 to see if it's fixed.

I had no problem with Beta 7. It only started today. I will monitor it and will take action over the next day or two if it actually presents an issue by reduced battery life.

If your phone was close to full, it probably purged cached data to make room for the upgrade procedure.

Anyone who updated (not fresh install) notice if they fixed the bug with the health app? The one where it always showed "No Data" or something?

Ever since iOS 8 I've been concerned and disappointed with the fluidity of every subsequent update to iOS.

However, 9.3 is genuinely as fast as 7.1.2 was. There's no stuttering in control center at all, and the auto scrolling doesn't even drop a single frame when scrolling through massive lists. Kudos to Apple!

The ever persistent spotlight lag is unfortunately still there. That luckily manages to dissapear after pulling it down the first time.

    Using an iPhone 6.

It's so fluid and no lag at all on a 6s. It's like butter. I'm loving it. Battery life stinks though

Smooth as silk. No battery issues. Same battery usage as 9.2.1. Loving it.

I like the new Notes setting that does not copy pictures to the camera roll.
