Hi,

I've had a quick look around and couldn't see an answer to this in the forums (which surprised me).

What is the best way to attach pictures to MacRumors forum postings using your iPad, iPhone or iPod Touch? I've just resorted to,

1. Upload photo from my device to Dropbox
2. Copy the link URL
3. ssh into my Linux server and download the photo, putting it in web accessible directory
4. Attach the image to my posting using the attach from URL option on the attachments page

For some reason the attachments page would not accept either the shortened URL from Dropbox nor the expanded URL (hence why I resorted to serving them from my web server). Surely there has to be an easier way?

Thanks in advance,

Alec

What about using Flickr?

I don't use an iPad or iPhone, but are you able to upload images to Flickr from such a device?
(Here seems to be a way to do that.)

If so, you can use the image url and insert the image via the image button (
insertimage.gif
) in here.

I don’t believe that works. We had this discussion awhile back. One of our MR members made an app iQuick, which is what the OP needs. It’s free from the App Store. Search on iQuick here in MR to find out more.
