    Hi,

Coming over from a Windows XP environment here. Is there a better app than the standard Airport program that sits in the status bar? I'd like a list of Wifi access points that also displays signal strength and if is secured or not. They way it works now is that I have to go down the whole list of access points to find the one that is open and works. It does offer a "first choice" but that isn't really enough. Thanks for the help!

I have a widget called "Airport Radar" that does all of those things. It's available here.

Great thanks! Now if they would just allow you to join a network from the widget!

EDIT: you can do just that, thanks!
