An Oxford Oriental University professor has claimed in a new book that aliens have been abducting and cross breeding with humans and will save us from climate change.

In the book, he describes four types of aliens (small, tall and bold, scales with snake eyes, and insect eyes) and says that the aliens are intelligent and will be able to solve climate change.

The professor is currently looking for more evidence.

My apologies to any alien cross breeding forum members who happen to read this thread :).

    "professor" my a##

Just a teacher in Korean it seems.

Just like the 1000s of scientists claiming that climate change ain't real 99.99% of which not holding any degree even remotely connected to climate research.

Climate deniers are going the way of flat earthers or anti-vaxxers. They don't know how partisan and out of touch they seem outside of the confines of the little bubbles of ignorance they live in.

This post, in jest or not, makes that point perfectly.

Finally a serious look at today’s humans that believe they are more powerful than the universe.

Yes, it is. Gore and Kerry are repeating the scientific conclusions of actual experts.

Yeah but a Conservative with absolutely zero education in the sciences from talk radio or Fox News disagrees, so what about their side?

Careful. There are plenty of ignorant blowhards on both sides of the aisle. This a fully bipartisan issue.

the earth was going to die as early as 2013 if you did not buy your carbon credits..........
    climate changes, it's cyclical.

It should be a non-partisan issue. Giving idealist pundits the same weight in the conversation as actual scientists is simply stupid.

If all the leading doctors in the world agreed that you that you had cancer, you would listen to them and get treatment, regardless of what Rush Limbaugh or Fox News told you to believe. Denial at this point IS partisan, it's right wing and it's fringe.

So, is a wheel, but that doesn't mean it won't run you over.

It's important to note that during the Eocene, Cretaceous and other period of high CO2 happened in balance with carbon in the oceans and weathering, which meant that species had time—geologically speaking—to adapt to shifting climates.

Meanwhile, during the rapid shifts of the Permian or Triassic eras, there were mass die offs. So to say "hey, it's cyclical" ignores the particularly inconvenient fact that without many species of plants and animals, we're in serious trouble.

Again the ocean acidification is a dangerous sign. As is the loss of the Greenland ice, and the melting of methane lakes in sub-Arctic Russia.

And, that the speed of our emissions is outpacing geological events, which means the speed of climatic shift will be faster, deadlier, and more expensive.
