I have had my I pod touch less than a month and the other day I noticed a bug crawling behind the screen. First I thought it was behind the protective case but when took it off the bug was still there . I was hoping it was going to crawl off the screen but the little bugger has just died right in the middle of my screen. Will this be covered by apple.

Hi here are the photos

I have contacted apple and they have given me a reference number and told me to take it back to the store I got it from and they will replace it

Now does any one know how i can back up my stuff, when they give me another ipod will itunes be able to put my stuff on the new one, and what about contacts and calendar ?

thanks

I'm pretty sure (Not 100% though) that your old iTunes library will sync to your new iPod Touch. And then I looked it up and found this.

That bug is kind of disgusting. I'm trying to imagine what it would be like to move my finger on top of it every time I'm scrolling or playing a game.

Are you still on version 2.2.1? My cousin had the same exact bug under the glass of his iPhone, and he just updated to 3.0 and it went away.

Oh man, so funny!

Sorry about your bug problem though Welshspencer. Glad to hear it sounds like Apple is going to replace it! I wonder how in the world that bugger got in there though?

yeah, should resync your data. just pay attention the first time you sync your new one. It should ask you if you want to use the same profile or something to that effect.

took I pod back to store (Comet) and apple and called them to tell them I was coming in. they had my new Ipod ready for me. and was funny as all the staff came out to see the dead bug.... lets just hope his brother/Sister is not in this one
