Kinda inevitable that parties become obstructionist when they have no power.

The republicans are still the party of no. No healthcare, no civil rights, no competent president.

The two parties are the same when it comes to certain people, or groups, like the Bushes and the Clintons. Also, these career politicians in congress are just so awful. They are completely out of touch with the millennials, congress has such a low approval rating and has for such a long time.

This is where both parties need to change. The younger kids don't care about Washington, and soon they will be in charge of the country. Both parties need to focus on what the 20 somethings are interested in not what some 70 year old boomers care about.

That article came from the Washington Post. Tells you how serious your parties problems are.

Just because McConnell is old and injury prone is no reason to say he's a fall risk

Yeah.. I guess when the message suits "you" - they aren't fake news anymore but spot on. Funny how that works ;)

They weren't attacking Trump, they actually realize they've got some serious problems internally.

Republicans have full control of the government and haven't managed to accomplish much of anything. Let's face it, both parties have serious issues.

So you agree with me - that since the message is something you agree with, they aren't fake news. Got it.

In other news - come mid-terms, I think if the Dems can resonate with voters if they clearly outline all the broken promises Trump made. There are a lot.

Not that many. He's pretty much well on his way to fulfilling all of the promises he made in terms of executive action. The big broken promise so far is healthcare, although it's only been six months.

He's killing it on trade/foreign policy/immigration. Far more accomplished in six months than Obama's eight years. Heck, he is following through on some of Obama's promises from '08.

More like a totally biased news organization, that spins and twists the facts like a pretzel. For once they looked in the mirror for a split second and freaked out.

All that poll proves is that the Dems have a marketing problem...

Not surprising since the majority of the voters do not know what the party they support stands for. They just follow their party line because something. That applies to both parties, to be sure

Signing EOs are meaningless. He can claim to almost nothing. Especially his biggest platforms. There's no wall. Healthcare is a mess. And so on. He's got very little to brag about that he actually owns. The stock market is a weak statement and so is jobs.

Only six months from a guy who said he was going to have everything wrapped up within 100 days.

He's killing nothing. Smoke and mirrors.

Will they? Both parties are fairly old in congress, especially the democrats. 40% of house democrats are 65+. At least it is only 20% for republicans. The kids won't be in charge for a while, even people my age won't.

They also have a candidate problem. They're running elitist/establishment candidates who reek of coruption, instead of progressive ones that people actually look forward to go see and resonate with.

But the longer congress appeases the baby boomers it's longer that they ignore the upcoming generations who care about healthcare and an open internet.
