Some people NEED to find a bad spin

The article is about the huge number of successful iPod accessory products that have popped up. At the end:

chances are someone will come out with something cooler at some point," he says.

At that juncture, Apple had better come up with an answer, because no amount of accessory purchases will keep users in the iPod Nation for good.

Wow, try hard enough and anything can somehow become scary news of Apple teetering on the edge of doom :D Even Apple's 92% share of the HD player market! I guess Apple better not stop developing iPods. I wonder what evidence there might be that they have NOT stopped? ;)

Imagine if Dell had a player with 40% of the market (instead of their micro-share)... would this same writer imply that Gateway's users were imminently going to dump gateway for something "cooler?" I'd guess not... this kind of slant sounds like just more parrotting of the same old lines that keep getting repeated... Which all boilds down to: "Apple has 92% market share now... but one day they might possibly have 91% or less!" Very smart, have a paycheck :)
