Our constitution is quite backward, our Federation is bleeding money, our multiple State legislatures pass conflicting and duplicated legislation, and our businesses are bleeding money trying to keep up with all the different State practices and laws on different matters!

It's time to Unify the Australian government and this is how we can do it!

There are many more points under my page above, but this is the best snippet by Dr Mark Drummond.
    What do people think?

I'd be all for it. Not like they do anything anyway.

All we need is Federal and Local Government. The States are a waste of time and money.

Good to hear! I think a majority of Australians agree with you!

PS: They also agree that "This is going straight to the Pool Room!" :D:D:D;)

Did you see my page? I also argue a few other points detractors sometimes raise.

Didn't read your page or most of the post, just agree that the states are pretty much pointless.

Not really keen on getting on a bandwagon or discussing the minutiae of it all I just don't see a reason for them.
