(This is in PRSI for no other reason than the idea that Hitler is peripherally involved.)

So, I don't know...do people have nothing else to do or what?

Personally, if I really look at this...I mean really really look at it...I can kinda/sorta/almost see Hitler in it. But IMO it takes a fair amount of imagination to get there.

I'm more interested in the teapot in terms of that phenomenon in which people tend to create images in their minds out of random things. I was trying to find the word, but according to Wiki it might be pareidolia...or apophenia...or patternicity...or something. :D

At any rate, if it is Hitler, then it's Hitler holding a little bell.

    And he's pretty fat.

And he's either got a round mustache or a bulb nose.

I certainly hope not. I was hoping we could keep this one on the light-hearted side.

Anyway, I think the whole thing's ridiculous, and I think the media are ridiculous for carrying the story.

(BTW, it could just as easily be said to resemble Oliver Hardy.)

Any resemblance between Adenoid Hinkle and the Jewish barber is purely coincidental

The thread is Godwin'ed from the get-go, so why not.

Yes, it's a tempest in a teapot tea kettle.

(Sorry, somebody had to do it.)

The hairline seems off, but the rotundity is a better match.

You know, it is interesting that there would be a furor over a Tea kettle. Would not want to be using that at my tea parties

I sometimes think that some people just want to complain about anything and everything and the internet lets them do it.

That being said it's a better world because of the internet.

In my opinion this is an over reaction from people who intentionally go out of their way to find things that offend them so they have a reason to complain. I like to file this under the wussification of the world files.
