Ouch, looks like one of their final lies against the ACA has been torn to shreds in front of their very eyes by the insurance companies themselves! Must hurt.

So what do you predict will be their next failed argument? They've already tried saying it's unpopular and will never reach the enrollment deadline, failed. Tried using Obamacare horror stories as propaganda, most of which were completely debunked. Then tried to claim that a huge chuck of premiums are not paid, turned out to be a significantly smaller portion. I love watching their lies come back to bite them in the ass...

I wonder if they've ever heard of the boy who cried "wolf"?

    I seriously doubt it.

Think about it; if they couldn't get the moral of the story right with Green Eggs and Ham (twice, at that), how could they get the story of the boy who cried "wolf!" right?

They still need to work on the one with The Lorax, in relation to fracking and "drill baby, drill!".

The source is from the Daily Kos, hardly an objective source of information. Not to be believed, except by the gullible (see posters above, for example).

Pure crap, as BL would say...... :D

It's just conservatives who don't like to believe The Daily Kos. They much prefer to put their trust in Limbaugh and Pravda West who spray them daily with right wing narcotics. ;)

Paul Krugman explains it all here (Inventing a Failure):

Of course, he's a Liberal, so, people on the right will explain away the facts that way.

Oh so the facts straight from the insurance companies are somehow invalid because they happened to be published to a site you don't like? (Among many other sites). It's not like these figures are exclusive to this site. But I understand your frustration and desperacy, you really wanted this to fail...

    Great people are paying.

The numbers that are more important are...

    * The percentage of health young people to old sick people?
    * How many of the 8million did not have insurance before signing up?
    * how many signet up because their other policy was canceled?

So in all have we drastically reduced the number of people who did not have insurance?

That's funny, it seems this particular number was a VERY important talking point for the right up until now. You know, if you keep moving the goal posts, eventually you will run out of space to move them.
So far, it seems that we have. The 8 million enrollment figure doesn't even factor in the newly eligible Medicaid patients. All the number released so far indicate the answer to your question to be a "Yes". Do you have any numbers to indicate otherwise?

Nor does it include the millions who enrolled in their employer's plans who previously declined to.

And if they previously declined to, then I'm assuming them to be the "young and healthy" group that edk99 is referring to...

    ----------

Yes, because that's how liberals do things. Facts don't usually stand in our way, they work in our favor...

And don't forget Fast and Furious! Suddenly it's guns that kill people, not people! No, no reversal there, none whatsoever.
