Is there a way to do this anymore? Pretty frustrating that Apple has been shunning the love for this feature recently and now with Catalina and no more iTunes I can't find a way to add a custom ring/text tone to my phone. If anyone has any idea please let me know. I'd be happy to do it right on the phone but I can't see a way to do that now either. Thanks in advance.

I haven't tried it yet, but I was under the impression that the new Music app could do it. In any event, there is always a third party app which can be use instead. I highly recommend iMazing 2 which does everything that iTunes could do and much more. It's recently on sale from the Macworld Magazine store for $19.99.
Wow and sigh! Thanks for the link. Obviously Custom ringtones aren’t a priority for Apple at the moment lol
