Is it true that the Invisible mode only works for people with Adium as well? I mean that only other people using Adium would see you, or in this not see you when you are invisible. Also, whenever I use set status to invisible, it shows that I am Away. Can someone clarify this for me?

Invisible mode only works for protocols that support it, no matter what messenger client your contacts are using.
