Unless you live in or visit China this is probably not particularly relevant, but I thought I'd post it here anyway for those who might be interested:

The Air Quality Index feature was introduced in iOS 10, and shows the current AQI for Chinese locations in the both the Weather app, where it displays a summary near the conditions text and the current reading down the bottom, and the Maps app, where it appears as a colour coded number on the weather info in the corner of the map.

Well... it seems it only lasted about a year and is now gone. I'm assuming this is because Apple's weather data provider isn't providing this information any more, for whatever reason, and that it's not specifically tied to an iOS 11 update, but I don't have a previous device to test it.

Looks like it's also back on iOS 10.2.5, at least for some localities, so it must be a server-side thing.
