I have noted that when connected to my macbook air, It seems as my airpods pro 3 lowers the volume between clips I play.

Lets say I am watching something on youtube, and turn the volume up. The clip plays ok with the volume I set using the volume button on the keyboard, but for the next clip it plays, it is noticably lower. When then pressing the volume up button, the volume gets much louder, as it seems to reset to the actual volume that it should be.

The same thing happens if I am playing something on the spotify app having turned the volume up... then going to youtube it will be lower again, turning up the volume... and then going back to spotify it is low again. I am using the Vivaldi browser when on youtube. Also tried using chrome, but the same happens there.

I am living in Norway.

Anyone else have noticed the same thing? Is this a stupid EU rule thats been implemented or a bug?

really? nobody else has this problem? Its like with every clip I watch on youtube... when the next clip starts it is lower and I have to raise the volume again.

So this annoyed me like crazy when it started happening. Was annoying when I went on a run and music got quieter and quieter and quieter.

I BELEIVE to turn this off you have to go to Settings --> Sound & Haptics --> Reduce Loud Sounds - if I remember right. I just remember I ran past a thread here on Macrumors with people annoyed from the reducing noise levels - and someone recommended this and it worked and I forgot about it. Hope this works for you.
