I have suddenly developed problems connecting from one Mac to another. Airport works fine otherwise, but when I try to connect to my other Mac via "Connect to Server," I see the list, click on the other mac and get a Timeout window that counts down and then is unable to connect.

Something changed in my settings, I'm sure. Thoughts?

I'm running 10.2.8 with AirPort Extreme in both Macs.

Thanks,
Mike

try restarting both computers first. then you might try repairing permissions...
the ip address may have changed on one of the computers and it isn't refreshing or something...

if all else fails, try connecting directly with the ip address (find it in system preferences --> network --> airport --> tcp/ip tab) in the format:
afp://192.168.0.xxx

you might want to check in system preferences --> sharing --> services to check that the appropriate services are on (personal file sharing)
