I've been looking forward eagerly for my 4 pack of AirTags to arrive. They were delivered before I expected today. My first complaint: Why would Apple decide to make them the slipperiest little suckers you can imagine which the shape only amplifies. They will flip & flop out of your fingers if you even touch them. It's difficult to try and get a better hold on them. Sure they look beautiful but I demand functionality to surpass beauty. That leads me to my next complaint. Really Apple?? How dare you sell us these seemingly lubed up lozenges without a default means of attaching them to anything. Couldn't you include a well-placed hole or a simple keychain case? They are useless out of the box until you wrap them in some attachable doohickey. Yes you can buy something cheap on Amazon to do the trick but why should I spend MORE on a case than the device itself? Eclipsing those disappointments is my utter shock that AirTags cannot be used with Family Sharing??? That reduces the functionality factor by 80%. Until that ability is added I rate them 1 star.

Family sharing? There are designed for personal items

You can buy nice keychain holders or cases for less than half the cost of an airbag.

It isn't designed to be used in your hand. It's not a phone.

Umm.. well known info what's included in the box.

Also well known info. Why don't you do your homework before ordering something?

I’ve bought 4 cases for the AirPods and combined they didn’t cost more than a single Airtag.

I think OP is asking the sensibilities of Apple when selling this product. It’s not about whether he look at what’s in the box whatsoever, but more on what should be normally expected in the box when people buy stuff like this. I agree at some points, though the price is also quite high such that make them valuable stuff for thefts.
