Anyone come across any price reductions in UK yet? For example, it seems Staples in US has, but not Staples UK!
Go for eBay or Gumtree. Plenty of new Pro selling for 100/200 pounds less.
I think op is looking for stores instead of second hand (but I could be wrong)
In the states it's staples, Best Buy and a few others.
Places such as....?Plenty of places in the U.K. Selling them for £100 off
I haven't seen any.Plenty of places in the U.K. Selling them for £100 off
The problem with those is even the new ones are often models intended for the Hong Kong market, questionably sourced.Go for eBay or Gumtree. Plenty of new Pro selling for 100/200 pounds less.
That looks dodgy as hell. There must be a catch, else John Lewis would have price matched them.32gb -

Gosh. And you're not getting a UK model.Their Trustpilot site looks even worse! https://uk.trustpilot.com/review/www.simplyelectronics.net
It looks like they're based in Hong Kong so you also have import duty / VAT to consider when buying from there
I know. I mean, you can't get it reduced from a big company. eBay and gumtree are not everyone's cup of tea. Would be nice if you could walk into currys or the like and get a nice discount. You can get it new too.

Payment Fees and Charges
You agree to pay all fees and charges incurred in connection with your purchases (including any applicable taxes) at the rates in effect when the charges were incurred. Unless you notify Simply Electronics of any discrepancies within sixty (60) days after they first appear on your credit card statement, you agree that they will be deemed accepted by you in all respects and for all purposes. If Simply Electronics does not receive payment from your credit card issuer or its agent, you agree to pay all amounts due upon demand by Simply Electronics or its agents.
Taxes
By purchasing a product through the Site, customers outside of Hong Kong will normally be subjected to import duties and taxes and any other applicable customs related costs. Customs policies differ from country to country, which may result in indirect customs related costs in addition to the directly related customs costs charged by the courier. Customers typically should contact their local customs office if more information is required about this. Simply Electronics will have no control over applicable customs policies. You agree that you are the sole importer of the product(s) and are responsible for all import duties and taxes, and any related levies for the purchase of your product(s).
Correct 9/10 you don't pay. Honestly I'm not saying to order it's purely a there are cheaper options available out there.Simply Electronics are a well known importer - chances are VAT hasn't been paid on the item either.
From their T's and C's
In other words, we import it for you and if you're caught then it's not our problem.
